Accordion Books
The accordion, or leperello, structure allows the work to be handled intimately as a book and involves sequencing /juxtaposing/matching images. The structure can also be extended and the book set upright on a flat surface. Then the book becomes more of a shared object. Also, when it is extended, the divisions between pages diminish, and the book transforms into a long visual movement/moment.
